Online Resources — Fibrom-L
I menÂtioned in the first podÂcast that I folÂlow numerÂous online resources. As there’s no way I could list all of them in one post, I’ll just menion one at a time in case they’re interÂestÂing to othÂers, too. I’ll colÂlect the links here, so you can always go back to find them all togethÂer, or just check the posts in the catÂeÂgoÂry Resources.
Fibrom-L is the biggest and oldÂest of the email lists for FMS patients, as far as I know. In fact, it can be downÂright overÂwhelmÂing, and I canÂnot perÂsonÂalÂly seem to keep the rules about which subÂject line to use when postÂing about what straight in my head. It is, howÂevÂer, a good resource, if you can hanÂdle an extremeÂly high-volÂume list. There are sevÂerÂal well-known health proÂfesÂsionÂals who parÂticÂiÂpate in the list and answer quesÂtions, which gives memÂbers a marÂvelous opporÂtuÂniÂty to ask quesÂtions of experts on the foreÂfront of FM/CFS treatÂment.
While I could not find a web site for the list itself, the page linked above gives an excelÂlent hisÂtoÂry of the list, and you can find direcÂtions for subÂscribÂing and using the list here.
Namaste,
